Pace implement company wide Covid-SAFE procedures and remain open throughout the Covid Pandemic. During this extremely challenging time our Block Management department also passed the ‘1000 unit’ milestone!

Pace Celebrate 20yrs in Business

As one of the area’s largest lettings agencies, PACE is chosen by its clients for its customer service, honest advice and most importantly, its ethical approach to all property matters.

The company continues to embrace modern technology introducing a bespoke Lettings management application for use with iPads.

2013

Sophisticated software is introduced to enable the use of online payments systems and paperless sign-ups for more efficient property management and ease of use for tenants.

2012

Having been with Pace for one year, Lisa Clark is promoted to Residential Sales Manager as a result of delivering excellent customer service and achieving the best possible house sale prices for clients.

2011

Pace offers Block Management to external customers for the first time,   undertaking the running of blocks of flats and advising Leaseholders and Freeholders on matters such as switching managing agents and reducing service charges.

2010

Martin Ransom is employed as Branch Manager with a wealth of experience in the property and finance industries, including as Head of Operations for the London Scottish Banking Group.

2010

Crystal Horwood takes over the business as Managing Director and the company undertakes a re-brand to the current corporate identity.

2008

Marcus James begins working for Pace as a lettings negotiator and Kelly Jenkins, is employed as an Accounts Assistant.  Both Marcus and Kelly embark on a series of training courses and are encouraged to gain additional qualifications.  Marcus is now the Lettings Manager and Kelly heads the finance department.

2007

Crystal Horwood is asked to rejoin the family firm as Business Development Director, returns to the UK and becomes a member of the NAEA.  Crystal endeavours to improve customer service and grow the business.  All senior staff are now expected to pass the technical training award and become members of the NAEA and ARLA.

2005

Pace relocates to the current larger, modern offices on Southchurch Road.

2005

Pace establishes an Estate Agency department with the aim to offer the same exceptional service experienced by clients of the PACE Lettings agency for those wishing to sell property.

2002

The company moves to a larger workplace in Westcliff on the London Road.

2001

The company acquires the lettings business of a local agent and begins to let properties for third parties.   The company is in a unique position since it now owns a portfolio of 120 properties. Being a landlord itself, the company truly understands the challenges its clients experience. As such, the company takes a proactive role in working directly with local stakeholders and decision makers to ensure the best interests of landlords and tenants.

1998

Pace now owns 100 residential properties in Southend.

Property and Commercial Enterprises (Pace) Plc is originally founded as a property management company to manage a private portfolio of local flats and houses.
